Building A Mystery Receives Juror’s Award

With great pleasure I am happy to announce that my image “Building A Mystery” won a Juror’s Award in the 2017 Cumberland Valley Artists and Photographers Exhibition. The award winners were announced at the Sunday Awards Ceremony and Reception. The exhibition is on display at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts. This wonderful museum is located in Hagerstown, Maryland. It is only a short drive south from Harrisburg. The show runs through April 9th. The show sponsors include Hugh and Marty Talton, Conservit, The Delaplaine Foundation.

Two galleries house the exhibition. Images from 31 photographers are on in the Bowman Gallery. Mixed media art pieces from 60 artists are on display in the Groh Gallery. For a complete list of both the selected photographers and artists visit here: WCMFA

Frank Herrera is the juror for the photography portion. Mr. Herrera has pursued a freelance career devoted to commercial and art photography. He specializes in photo documentary work. More about Mr. Herrera can be found here: Frank Herrera Photography

Congratulations to all of the selected artists including fellow camera club members, Chip Cain, Woody Garthwaite, Mike Munchel and Ted Van Pelt.  If you are in the area please stop by and visit the exhibition. To see this museum and the images selected for this show is well worth the drive to Hagerstown.
