This Friday, November 5, 2021 the Gallery at the Duende will present a Decade of Photography in Silo City. Five photographers, including Mike Broomfield, Judd Plattenburg, Alicia Wittman, Bill Woody and myself will be exhibiting photographs we made at the silos. The exhibition runs through the month of November. Show hours are 3:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Gallery is located on the second floor above the Duende Bar and Restaurant. The address is 85 Silo City Row, Buffalo, NY 14203.
As the title indicates the exhibition will include images that we made at Silo City over the last 10 years. Time goes by so quickly! It’s hard to believe that it’s been that long.
Even though the photographs were made in the same location, each photographer’s style is different and unique. This, and the small size of the gallery will make for a very interesting juxtaposition.

During the opening weekend, Sarah Turner will be projecting a light show on one of the silos. She will be using some of our images in this presentation. They will be larger then life! If the weather cooperates this will be a wonderful addition to the exhibition. Sarah is the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Mobile Projection Unit (MPU) with Nanda D’Agostino.
If you are in the Buffalo area please stop in for a dink at the Duende and then a visit to the gallery. You don’t want to miss A Decade of Photography in Silo City.
