2nd Annual Olympus InVision Pennsylvania Photographers Juried Exhibition

I am very happy to report that two of my photographs, The Hangman and Mossy Trail Reflection were accepted into the 2nd Annual Olympus InVision Pennsylvania Photographers Juried Exhibition. The exhibition will be hung in the ArtsQuest Crayola Gallery in Bethlehem, PA. The show opens on October 26, 2013 and runs until January 5. 2014. I hope that anyone in the vicinity will take the time and visit this wonderful exhibition!

From the Exhibition Prospectus:

ArtsQuest is hosting its 4th annual Olympus In Vision Photography Festival on Nov. 1-3, 2013. In Vision is a festival highlighting nationally and internationally known photographers as well as emerging artists. During the festival photographers from all over the tri-state area and beyond come together to enjoy a weekend of workshops, lectures, exhibition openings, and more.

This year In Vision will be hosting its second open juried exhibition for all photographers residing in Pennsylvania. This exhibition in our Crayola Gallery is a special juried exhibition created to highlight the many talented photographers living and working in PA. This exhibition looks to highlight work from all types of photographers at different stages in their careers as well as many various types of photography itself.

This exhibition will be selected and curated by, Bruce Katsiff. Katsiff is a photographer and former Director/CEO of the James A. Michener Museum in Doylestown, PA. Katsiff will jury the works and choose those photographs to be included in the exhibition.

Awards: Juror’s awards will be given out to three works which will have the oppor1unity to be purchased for $500 by three prestigious local collections: Lehigh University Art Gallery, Allentown Art Museum, and the Michener Museum.

I am keeping my fingers crossed on the Juror’s Awards!

The show opening reception is on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00PM on the first night of the InVision Photo Festival. Bethlehem is about an hour and a half west of Harrisburg, an hour north of Philadelphia and and hour and fifteen minutes north west of Princeton. So….there is no excuse for “you” not to attend,….and “you” know who “you” are! Cee…
