Today I learned that I’ve been chosen as a finalist in the Siena International Photo Contest. This is a great honor and I am really excited about the possibility of traveling to Siena, Italy for the Awards Ceremony.
I also received this nifty logo to display on my website and social media applications.
According to the contest website there are 26 different Jurors from all over the world. There have been thousands of entries from 127 different countries. This is a very big contest indeed.
At the end of July, I will find out if my photograph received any awards. The contest prizes include Photographer of The Year, Storyboard Winner, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Category Winners, Student Category Winner and Category Honorable Mention Winners. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am sure that there are some really awesome photographs in this contest.
Voting for the prize winners is ongoing so I cannot reveal the photograph that has been chosen. The Contest Team wants the judging to take place anonymously. Please check back at the end of July to find out the conclusion of the final round of judging.
