Two Friday’s ago Robrandi and I flew out to San Francisco, California for the 2012 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. We flew United Airlines, non-stop out of Baltimore-Washington International Airport. The ride out, unlike the return flight, was uneventful and took about 5 1/2 hours. Basically, we left on time and arrived on time. For the first three quarters of the trip we were high above the clouds with no view of the ground below. When we got over Kansas and crossed into Colorado the clouds gave way and we could see the terrain below. I took several pictures over Colorado, Utah, Nevada and California with my Canon S95 through the plane window. Using Google Earth and geographic features from the photos I tried to identify where the pictures were taken. Here are ten images that I was able to identify.
In situations like this it would be great to have GPS tagging capability. Unfortunately none of my cameras have this feature. I will be making additional posts on our exploits in San Francisco so stay tuned. As always your comments are always welcome.
