This year I have ten (10) photographs accepted by the student editorial staff for publication in the upcoming edition of ABSENCE 2013, Penn State Greater Allegheny’s Literary and Visual Art Review.

ABSENCE, a magazine that showcases a selection of literary and visual art work submitted by full and part time students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Penn State Greater Allegheny. Student editors judge works including original poetry, fiction, non-fiction, creative non-fiction, visual arts and photography. A blind-review process ensures that the judging of all submissions is based solely upom there artistic merit. The Penn State Greater Allegheny Press publishes the magazine annually..

The opening is titled, “Celebration of the Arts: A Reading and Reception for Volume 15”. It is a live-arts event and takes place on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 7:00 – 9:00PM. It is held in the PSUGA Campus in the Ostermayer Room. This is my third year of involvement with this wonderful program. I will be attending and speaking at this event. If any of you guys are in McKeesport, PA at this time feel free to stop by.
