Some of you out there in the digital inter-webs know that I am the head computer geek at my work. My trusty “right-hand man”, a junior computer geek, is Mr. Ryan Jones. Ryan’s lovely wife is Mrs. April Jones. Some of you may already know this but, I can confirm that the happy Jones couple are pregnant. Child number one is on the way (unless they have twins). What no one knows, until now, is that Ryan confided in me and revealed the names they choosen for their new baby!

According to Ryan, if the new baby is a boy, his name will be Dow Jones. The Jones’s have a strong tradition of boys in their family. Ryan is convinced that it will be a boy. In anticipation, I have obtained little Dow’s First Baby Tee pictured here.

If, on the other hand the new baby is a girl, Ryan assures me, her name will be Fannie Jones. The name “Fannie” is from a certain mother-in-law named Bonnie “Fannie” Liebegott. Fannie Liebegott’s story and antics are to numerous for this blog.

Duhty the Bichon Frise

On her first birthday little Fannie or little Dow Jones will receive, from her grandparents, a new dog. It will be a bichon frise, and it’s name will be “Duhty” Jones. We are not sure if it will be Jeff and Carla who get this new pet or Tom and Sylvia. What we do know is that it will be marvelously groomed.

Because “girl babies” are a rarity in the Jones family, I hired a famous artist, Mrs. Jessica Schadt to produce a sketch of Fannie Jones. As you can see below, as a teenager, Fannie will be sporting a cool hairdo, earrings and some glasses. We are also fairly certain that little Fannie Jones’s first words will be “Duhty Go Wee Wee”.

To Jeff, Carla, Tom and Silvia…. Robrandi and I can hardly wait to meet the new little Jones when she arrives. Congratulations to all you soon to be, proud grandparents and  Congratulations to Ryan and April…. We love you guys..!!
