Shipping Museum Glass – A sigh of relief…

Sunday evening I boxed up my “framed and ready to hang” photograph to send to Vermont for the Photoplace Gallery 2015 Black and White show. I used a piece of Museum Glass in the framing process. As all you photographers out there know, Museum Glass ain’t cheap. This is only the second time that I have mailed a framed photograph long distance. I was pretty nervous but I decided to tough it out.

After I dropped it off at the UPS Store on Monday I kept checking the tracking number to watch it’s progress. Happily, on Wednesday afternoon, shortly after it arrived at the gallery in Vermont I received an email from the Director, Mr. James Barker, telling me that my print framed with museum glass arrived today in good shape!

A sigh of relief…
